Welcome to the 2010 Rose of Tralee! 

The Rose Program for 2010 kicked off with Orientation at St. Lawrence’s Parish in Redondo Beach.  As the home for this event for many years now, St. Lawrence’s has once again shown their support for the Rose Program.

Leading the Orientation were Lorraine and Christina who succeeded in presenting a fun and informative Orientation to the new Roses of 2010.

Also on hand were several of the Rose Committee members – Paula, Jessica, Brittany, Kathy, Terry and Sheena – who talked about the upcoming events, including the St. Patrick’s Day Grand Ball which will be held on the backlot of the CBS Studios – a first for Southern California!

2009 Rose Brittany shared condensed versions of her stories from her time in Tralee last summer, though her online blog provides detailed accounts.

The Roses got a chance to introduce themselves to their fellow Roses and the Committee members.

After the formalities of the day were completed, everyone gathered for an assortment of beverages and snacks and conversation as the 2010 Roses mixed and mingled with each other and the committee.

The day ended with everyone looking forward to the next Rose Event – Irish Heritage Day – in two weeks!
